The Shrike Strikes

Red-backed shrike.jpg

Shrikes are small, carnivorous birds known for impaling their prey on thorns, spikes, and even barbed-wire fences.  While they look like your average sweet, diminutive songbird, these tiny predators are, in fact, cold-blooded killers.

Much like the vicious bird that inspired its name, the Shrike kiteboard comes in a small package, yet is capable of hunting down and destroying any crumbling lip, closeout section, or open shoulder in its path.

Take a look at Reo Stevens in the clip below, as he pushes the limits of his go-to wave predator.
