Reo Hacks His Way Onto the Cover of Kiteworld Mag

For those of you who don't know Reo, he is an FCD board tester, Patagonia Ambassador, all-around kitesurfing legend, and an insane kite instructor (check out his camps if you want to learn or advance your wave skills!). 

Oh, and he's a goofyfoot when he surfs.  The cover shot kite hack above is actually switchstance. Chew on that for a minute.

Equally at home surfing sizable waves in his backyard, the North Shore (no, he won't tell you where), to pulling into Cloudbreak barrels when it's windy, Reo also enjoys the occasional strapless freestyle session when the conditions warrant.  

In the shot above, Reo is riding a new "kite gun" model that we've been working on and testing over the last few months.  Narrower, longer, with a bit more rocker than our regular Shrike kiteboard,  the extra rail line works to hold in bigger, hollower, faster waves.  Although we haven't technically released the model, feel free to contact us to talk through dimensions if you're in need of a custom for your next reef pass trip.
