Designed with team riders, this board is meant for beach breaks and reef breaks when conditions are clean and crazy. Lots of rocker and foiled out for high level barrel riding and maneuvers in serious conditions. Relatively deep single concave throughout and slight vee out the tail. Meant to be ridden off the tail aggressively. As compared with our more conventional step-ups and guns, which are cruisier and more positive in jumbled conditions, the HS3 hits its stride with a back-footed, stall for the barrel, maneuver-upon-exit approach.
